For the first time in our group's history, everyone in the PMC community has the opportunity to submit an application to be an Advisory Board member. Yes, it's self-nomination time!
Being an Advisory Board member is a career-enhancing volunteer role. You'll help to shape PMC programs and be highly-visible in the local Product Management community.
Want more details? Take a look at the attached PMC Advisory Board Charter which includes a description of the Board positions.
If you would like to help lead PMC by committing to a 2-year term, beginning in February 2009, we want to hear from you!
To apply, please email your bio, contact information, and 1-2 paragraphs about how you would contribute to PMC as an Advisory Board member, to marak@pmcnw.org by December 31st. We will review the nominees and get back to candidates by mid-January 2009. Advisory Board meetings will begin in early February 2009.
P.S. - If you want to volunteer with a shorter-term commitment, join the PMC Volunters sub-group (http://pmconsortium.ning.com/group/potentialvolunteers) to discover available opportunities.
