Want to stand out from the crowd in your job search? Learn how to to tell your story!
In this free one-hour teleclass, we will explore the three essential components of telling your story in a way that both sets you apart and demonstrates how an employer would benefit from hiring you:
* Skill: What skills do I have to offer?
* Passion: What energizes me?
* Needs: What are the needs that the employer is trying to meet by hiring for this job?
The end goal is to be able to tell any prospective employer:
1. This is why I can do this job (skills).
2. This is why doing this job will energize me (passion).
3. And most importantly, this is how my skills and passion address your needs.
In this teleclass you will learn:
* A methodical way to identify your skills that gives you insight into both what your skills are and how they relate to the big picture of what you have accomplished.
* How to create a resource with vignettes that help you tell the story of how you have used each of your skills and the beneficial outcome.
* A technique for identifying the underlying characteristics of what lights you up.
* An approach to building a picture of what needs an employer is meeting when hiring for a position.
* How to position your skills and passion in the context of meeting an employer’s needs.
